What is possible in this case is very unlikely. Possibility is based on believes, probability is based on facts. And, no, Jetbrains will not change compilation to `Swift`. Not any time in future, especially taking onto account it is still in Alpha stage and latest update only proves they are 100% committed to obj-c. Such a change would be extremely costly.

KMM looks only good from perspective of Android developers. They are 2 different system and Apple will do everything to distinguish itself from Android at any cost.

These kind of articles try to highlight positives only and put common denominator between 2 platform. This approach is already a failure, because it is misleading developers into making wrong and reckless decision. It is ok to use KMM for short lived small project, but I wouldn't bet anything bigger than simple calculator app.
